Biography of Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube, born June 26, 1993, is an Indian cricketer who represents Mumbai in domestic cricket and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is an all-rounder, left-handed with the bat and his right-arm pacer at half-off. Shivam made his debut for the Indian cricket team in November 2019.

Shivam Dube Early life

A native of Uttar Pradesh, Shivam Dube was born on June 26, 1993. He grew up in Mumbai and played for the Mumbai team in first class cricket. Shivam Dube’s father, Rajesh Dube, saw potential in Shivam Dube when he was just four years old. Even the house assistant, who will give an example to the southpaw, is also impressed with Shivam’s punching ability.

Realizing that his son could excel in the sport, he volunteered to train him. He will play at least 500 balls a day at Shivam, in addition to preparing special food for him. Every day his father made him practice cricket and that continued for 10 long years. Shivam Dube studied at Hansraj Morarji Public School.

He is one of the most talented kids in school, however, he is big. He first came to the limelight when he helped his school win the under-14 Giles Shield tournament in Mumbai.

Shivam Dubey Cricket Career

Shivam started playing cricket only at the age of 6. His father enrolled him in “Chandrakant Pandit Cricket Academy, Andheri West, Mumbai” to get cricket training. Where he trained in cricket with his coach Satish Samant. At the age of 14, he quit cricket due to financial problems at home. After 4 years, his uncle Ramesh Dubey and his cousin Rajeev Dubey helped him to play cricket.

Shivam Dube made headlines on the final day of the Ranji Trophy match against Baroda on December 17 by hitting five sixes off Swapnil Singh’s left-arm over. He made his T20 debut in the 2015-16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Baroda in Mumbai, hitting six sixes in one over for the second time, doing so against Pravin Tambe in the T20 Mumbai League in March.

Trials have started for the Mumbai U23 team. At that time, Shivam was 19 years old and stood trial for the Mumbai Under 23s. His game was appreciated by the coaches and he was included in the team. He also performed well in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy and grabbed everyone’s attention with his Jalwe variety. Shivam scored 1000 runs in the first 17 matches. Along with that, he also took 40 wickets to his name.

Shivam Dube made his A-list debut for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Rajasthan in Chennai in February 2017.

He made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in January 2016 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Dube made his first-class debut in December 2017 when he appeared for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy against Karnataka. In the opening innings, he scored his first five-wicket haul in first-class cricket.

International Carrer of Shivam Dube

After finishing the 2019 Ranji season as the top wicket-taker, Shivam Dube was named in the Indian T20 squad for the series against Bangladesh.

Dube made his T20 debut in the first match of the tri-series T20 against Bangladesh on November 3, 2019. Coming in at number six, he scored four runs in the bat, while playing just three balls in the second innings. He was unbeaten in the second T20 and was unbeaten in 9 out of 8 deliveries in the third T20.

Shivam Dube has joined India’s upcoming series against West Indies. In the second of the three matches in the T20 series against the West Indies, Dube was sent in as a spinner at number three. After a slow start, Dube went wild and hit six fours and sixes in the match. He scored his first half-century in T20 cricket before getting out on 54 off 30 balls. However, West Indies won the match by 8 wickets.

The Mumbai batsman made his ODI debut in a series against West Indies on December 15, 2019. It has great dumb, with the bath or bath. Dibube shot 9 heads, where they hide 68 and 7.5 cover and ball.
