Sanju Samson Personal Life | Family, Business, Entertainment

When it comes to his personal life, Sanju Samson has made it clear that he does not want to mix business with his personal life. Because of this, he has not spoken well about the details he shares with the media about his personal life. However, we have a few details that may interest you.

Sanju Samson has been married for 3 years to his wife Charulatha Remesh. They fell in love when they were both classmates at “Mar Ivanios College”. They got together and decided to get married on September 8, 2018. They held a small ceremony in Kovalam, which is a small town.

Sanju also has many personal activities. Apart from cricket, he also likes to play other sports like basketball, swimming, badminton etc. A huge amount of Sanju Samson net worth was spent to build his own swimming pool in his house.

Carrier of Sanju Samson

It is considered to be the largest in Kerala. Sanju Samson is a good wicket keeper batsman, who has good technique, both with the bat and behind the stumps. He made his first-class debut at the age of 17 for Kerala against Vidarbha.

He made an almost immediate impact, scoring 255 goals in the next season. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) signed him in 2012 but he did not get a game. It was for Rajasthan Royals that Samson made a name for himself in the IPL. He was sent to the United Arab Emirates to represent the country in the Under 19 World Cup and he did not disappoint the coaches. He was the best run-scorer for India and was the only player in the team to hit a fifty. In fact, he finished 6th in the list of batsmen with most points in all tournaments even though India could not progress to the semi-finals.

When Dravid coached the Royals in IPL-7, he praised Samson and added that he is one of the players at the current level who will soon win for India. A consistent performance in the IPL meant that Samson was selected for the tour of Zimbabwe in 2015. He made his debut for India in a T20 match, where he scored 19.

Dravid once again showed his faith when he was the head coach of Delhi Daredevils, he picked up Samson in the IPL 2016 auction and the wicket keeper rewarded him to become his team’s third winner. He was selected for India A’s tour to Australia and played some performances which helped them win the quadrangle series involving Australia A, South Africa A and National Performance Squad.

In the 2014-15 season, the Keralites soared so high in the rankings that they were set to succeed MS Dhoni as India’s gloveman. Unfortunately, his fortunes have declined since then. Samson’s game has not really matured as much as it should have given his creative gifts. Although he is capable of exciting shots around the court, his offense remains that of a rookie despite his experience on the national circuit.

This is an area that Samson needs to improve early on, if he hopes to be a successful international cricketer. He has got a few chances for India but he hasn’t missed those chances. Competing with Rishabh’s explosive pants can hit at any level means Samson has to be on his toes.

T20 Carrier

Before making his debut, Sanju was selected in the 17-man squad to play against England in 5 ODIs and T20s in 2014, however, he did not get a chance to start in the Playing XI.

Sanju Samson continued to make big runs and consistent performances in the IPL and Ranji Trophy meant that the boy from Kerala was selected for the tour of Zimbabwe in 2015. He made his debut for India in a T20 match. However, it did not turn out to be a good game as he scored 19 runs from 24 deliveries, and since then, he has not played for India again. He was selected for the T20I series of India’s tour to New Zealand in 2020 and was part of the playing XI as an opener. Although he could not create the desired impact with the bat, he finally made his mark in the team after 4 years in the field.

IPL controversy

Sanju Samson is a quiet person who does not talk much and does not enjoy playing cricket. It is his quiet and composed nature that makes the name stand out. But sometimes, conflict comes looking for it.

This is one of the most talked about points in IPL 2020. When RR faced RCB, the former hit first. RR and the bat are struggling as the bowlers are on a roll. In one of the deliveries Chahal played, the controversy started. Samson throws him right into the plate carrier, but it’s low.

There is no good evidence to provide it. But only the umpires were on the field, and the third umpire gave the decision to the bowler.
This led to a change in the umpire appeal concept, and many cricket experts felt that the decision was a mistake.

Samson’s IPL career started with Rajasthan Royals in 2013 where he played the first season. The batsman’s contribution was disappointing as he scored only 206 in 11 matches. At only about 50, many experts did not pay attention to Sanju Samson. But he grew up during the IPL season. One of the biggest problems in his IPL career is the lack of stops.
It is good for gloves and falls. The best season for runs came in 2018 for Sanju, where he scored 441 runs in 15 matches at 31.50. It includes three fifty, 92* best.

Everyone thought it was a break for the man, but it wasn’t. In 107 matches played, he scored 2584 runs at an average of 27.78. It doesn’t show the talent that the man has.
He has 13 half-centuries and two centuries in the IPL, who says he knows how to score big. Sanju also hit 191 fours and 115 sixes.

Sanju Samson’s achievement

Sanju is the first IPL captain in history to score a century on debut. He achieved the feat on April 12, 2021 in a match against Punjab Kings. During the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored a double ton (212 runs in 129 balls) which is the fastest by an Indian in List A cricket. This is the highest score by a wicket-keeper in a List A game .

and the highest individual score of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. With 627 points in seven matches, he is the top scorer of the Kerala team in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season.
During the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy season, he was named the Kerala captain, becoming the youngest player to captain the Ranji team for the entire tournament.

The second highest fifty scored by a cricketer in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which he scored in 2013 at the age of 18 years and 169 days against Royal Challengers Bangalore
On 21 September 2013, Sanju became the youngest player to score a fifty in the Champions League T20 (CLT20), playing for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians.
