Mitchell Starc is an Australian cricketer who plays for New South Wales and the Australian national team. Going down the order, he is a left-handed fast bowler and a left-handed bowler. Mitchell Starc’s full name is Mitchell Aaron Starc. He is a famous bowler in the Australian team and is regarded as one of the fastest and fastest bowlers in the current era.
Mitchell Starc was born on January 30, 1990 in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia. He started school at Home Bush Boys High School in Sydney. Starc started playing cricket at the age of 9.
Starc started playing cricket at a young age, working as a wicketkeeper for the Northern District at the age of 19. He was a representative cricketer for the Northern Districts Cricket Association (NDCA) and attended Homebush Boys High School, captaining the academic cricket team.
He is also a former junior cricketer for Berala Sports Cricket Club based in Sydney, where he is known to take wickets and bowl in one innings. Starc was key for Australia as they won the ICC ODI World Cup for the fifth time in 2015. He was the player of the ICC ODI World Cup 2015 in Australia with 22 wickets and finished as the highest ODI player in the world. Four years later, in the 2019 World Cup, Starc again emerged as the top wicket-taker with 27 wickets in 10 matches.
Starc was signed by various IPL titles during his career, but due to his injury in the Australia match he left more than he played in the team. Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Starc in 2014; he played three seasons with RCB and became the team’s leading wicket-taker in the 2015 season with 20 wickets. The Kolkata Knight Riders signed the left-handed pacer for the 2018 season but he did not play; He was later released from the franchise. Starc has withdrawn from the IPL 2022 mega auction and will not participate in the IPL 2023.
