Dipika Kakar Ibrahim is an Indian actress and model. She was born on August 6, 1986 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She is well known for the role of “Simar” in the TV series “Sasural Simar Ka”. She won the “Gold Award – Best Female Actor” in 2015 for this performance.

Early life and personal life

Dipika Kakar graduated from “Mumbai University”. His mother’s name is “Renu Kakar”. She married “Raunak Samson” in December 2011. But later, she got divorced in 2015. Also, she married her partner “Shoaib Ibrahim” on February 22, 2018 in Bhopal.

Her Carrer

The actor started his career as a flight attendant for three years in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Then, Dipika made her television debut in 2010 with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi where Dipika portrayed the role of Lakshmi. Kakar later acted in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo as Rekha. From 2011 to 2017, Dipika portrayed Simar Bhardwaj in Colors Television’s Sasural Simar Ka. In 2015, Kakar joined the popular musical drama Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8. Na 2017, Dipika sonyeere Shoaib Ibrahim na Star Plus’Nach Baliye Season 8.

Kakar later mee ihe na Entertainment Ki Raat. In 2018, the actor played Suhasini Thakur in Star Plus’ Qayamat Ki Raat. In October 2018, Dipika joined Bigg Boss Season 12. On December 30, 2018, Kakar became the all-time champion. Since 2019, Dipika Kakar has played Sonakshi Rastogi in Star Plus’ Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum opposite Karan Grover.

Dipika Kakar Ibrahim is an Indian television actress best known for playing the role of Simar Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka (2011-17). He was born on August 6, 1986 in Pune, Maharashtra. His father was an army captain.
After graduating from Mumbai University, he started working as a flight attendant at Jet Airways in 2007 and worked there for about 3 years. She made her television debut in Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi (2010). After that, she acted as Rekha Prasad in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo (2011). Dipika Kakar played the title role of Simar in “Sasural Simar Ka” from 2011 to 2017.

In February 2017, Dipika left the show and was replaced by Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar. The show ended on March 2, 2018 after 2063 shows and became the second longest running Indian drama series on Colors TV after Balika Vadhu.

In 2015, she participated in the popular musical drama Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 with Vaibhav Ghuge. Dipika and Shoaib participated in the music show Nach Baliye 8 in 2017.
In 2018, she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 12 and came out on top. In 2011, Dipika Kakar married Raunak Samson, with whom she worked as a flight attendant. She kept her marriage a secret until her divorce in 2015. Her closeness with Shoaib is being reported as the reason for her divorce.

Dipika Kakar married Shoaib Ibrahim, co-star of Sasural Simar Ka on February 22, 2018. He converted to Islam and changed his name to Faiza Ibrahim. In a 2018 interview, She said:
“Jo sach hai woh hai… It’s true that I did it, but why when I did it, I didn’t think we should talk about it. It’s a personal thing and I don’t think I need to say it publicly in public. I am very happy and proud to do it for me and my happiness. My family is with me in this decision, my intention is not to hurt anyone. It’s my decision.”
